Well presented, well written, easy to use

Over two minutes to load any content! This app needs serious help.

New version bloated and slow. Why fix what wasnt broken? Whats next, a paywall? Bring back previous!

Smashing and super, it was. Update earlier this month (May 14) and then it didnt work. Update again to iron out bugs and... er, it doesnt work.

On iPhone it sticks, quits, reverts to small font suddenly , is always slow to load, is neither zoom able or viewable on the horizontal screen. Why is it so poor. Very frustrating to use.

Great content, refreshingly "independent" and "Fisky", with wonderful spread of serious and flip coverage and high-quality reporting. Only two gripes are that it is far slower to log on to than The Guardian, and that when following links in a story any visuals they contain usually do not appear. Many thanks for doing what you do so 95% well !

So many articles to read with this app. Great source of information.

Is rather slow. Also too much USA news, not enough European or world topics. Takes time, and is too America orientated, more World, European and UK news, please.

Brilliant app. I use this app everyday and love it! Its easy to read and super fast. Great news app.

After a few intermediate versions theyve got it right now and it has been worth the wait. This is an excellent app containing all The Indys great news and comment and its continually updated. The interface is now consistent and easy to use. This is the news app I use the most. (I also get to feed my Tom Sutcliffe habit).

While this version certainly looks a lot nicer and doesnt have so many display problems, it is crippled by its apalling update policy - whenever you switch back to the app, it will automatically wipe all stories and download them again - thereby losing wherever you were before and resetting you to the news screen! Not only that, but if the update fails (if you have lost your internet connection for example) then you will either have a white screen (if you are lucky) or the app will simply crash. This makes it unusable for any offline reading, which should be very simple.

Looks like this update (6.0) has been desigend for the latest iPhones and lightning fast internet connections. I am using an iPhone 4S and a moderately fast internet connection, but the app has become painfully slow. I have been using the app for some time, but may have to discontinue.

The default font size too small,every page need to change to a larger font size,and the font size can not saved.

I updated on my iPad a month ago and found it excruciatingly slow but wondered if it was my device. Now forced to update on my iPhone 5 and it is almost as bad. Slow upload speed, 10 to 20 secs to open then 2 or more secs for many articles to load; swipe often not responsive; says there are 20 news items but can access only 8 of them; previously able to email articles but now not recognizing my settings. Will not be my GoTo news site until it improves. A couple of smaller issues, please can you have time still visible as I read? And add to top of article, time/date of last update.
