The new update blocks the opening of the app, saying an Internet connection is required to use the app but I am connected to the internet! Bugs to fix before releasing please, older version worked fine.

Articles are of high quality but the app could be improved (navigation, customization,...).

Works for me, much prefer it to the website

A very good app for a very good newspaper. Easy to use, reliable, it is one of my favorite apps. I am a French user and I advice my friends to use it.

Nicely maintaining the readability of an old newspaper with the updating speed of the modern world. Keep the quirky stories!

Cant even open app, crashes instantly.

Alway well documented and written. News comes in immediately.

It is good to be able to have an independent view of world news and British news where ever you are in the world and unable to get a paper version where you are living at the moment.

This app has quickly become my favorite media app. The layout is great and gives easy access to the news stories. Content is updated very frequently: I always find something new to read. Highly recommended!

Terrible in every sense of the word. Takes an age to load just the from page even on wifi and then you are greeted with a blank page or loading icon when you click on anything. Just doesnt work. Obviously never tested it. To make matters worse, the Indy has turned into a tabloid full of speculation and rumour that doesnt cross reference any of its stories in favour of attention grabbing quips. Maybe the Daily Mail app works? AVOID!!

Love the independent and would read through the app twice a day, going to work and coming home, but since the update its completely unusable. Pages take far too long to load, if they even do load. Really disappointed as I cant use it anymore

This was a good app until they decided update it. Now it crashes constantly. I have not been able to open it at all in almost three weeks. If you want to go through the frustration of trying to open it and having crash 3 or 4 times then give up by all means download it. I give this app 0 out of 5!
